The Authority is hereby authorized and directed to discontinue water service to premises where such premises have failed to correct and eliminate any connection in violation of this division and to seal any piping arrangement, devices, equipment, facilities or appurtenances. Further precautionary measures deemed necessary to eliminate the danger of contamination of the public water supply is authorized and may be undertaken by the Authority. Water service to such premises shall not be restored until the cross connections have been eliminated in compliance with the provisions of this division. In addition, violators shall be subject to further penalty, as provided in this division.
