Sec. 66-10. Special assessment roll: notice of meeting to review assessments.
When any special assessment shall be reported by the city assessor to the council as provided in sections 66-8 and 66-9, it shall be filed in the office of the city clerk and numbered. Before confirming the assessment, the council shall give notice to all persons interested by publishing such notice of a meeting of the council to review the assessment roll once in such newspaper and proof of publication shall be made as specified in Section 17.7 of the Charter; provided that the date of publication shall be at least ten full days prior to the date set for such hearing in such order and notice. Any person objecting to his assessment may file his objections in writing with the city clerk.
