Sec. 42-136. Use regulated.
(a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to draw, handle or knowingly brandish, any revolver, pistol or gun in any park, cemetery or city-owned property.
(b)   It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or fire any revolver, pistol or gun in any public street, alley, park or other public or private space, cemetery, or city-owned property.
(c)   This section does not apply to citizens acting in self-defense or peace officers or members of any duly authorized military organization when acting in the discharge of their duties. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the city council from granting permission for the maintenance of shooting galleries or target ranges under suitable regulations for the protection and safety of its citizens and inhabitants.
