Sec. 26-71. Falsely deployed emergency services defined.
Emergency services shall be deemed to be falsely deployed if, upon arrival at the scene, it is determined by the highest ranking officer present that there was no danger present to warrant the deployment of emergency services. Falsely deployed emergency services includes deployment caused by the activation of an alarm system as a result of carelessness, intentional misconduct, mechanical failure, malfunction, improper installation or sensitivity to substances, conditions or objects that would not warrant the presence of emergency services.
