§ 155.43 NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING CENTER IDENTIFICATION SIGNS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this provision, a neighborhood shopping center shall be a shopping center having a total leasable area of more than 20,000 square feet and less than 75,000 square feet.
   (B)   Any shopping center qualifying as a neighborhood shopping center hereunder may erect a monument having a maximum height of 20 feet above grade on the property of the shopping center, which shall be so located as not to obstruct the view for exiting the shopping center and composed of stone, masonry, plastic masonry or other materials as are deemed consistent with the shopping center improvements, on which individual signs may be placed in accordance with the following standards:
      (1)   Maximum total sign area of all signs: 100 square feet per face, subject to division (B)(5) below.
      (2)   Minimum sign letter size: eight inches.
      (3)   The background of each sign shall be compatible with the background of all other signs on the monument.
      (4)   The total area of all of the signs located on the monument shall not exceed 65% of the total area of the monument. In making the determination, the area of each sign shall be calculated on the basis of the total area of the background of each sign.
      (5)   The content of the signs shall be limited to the name of the shopping center and the name of the occupants of the shopping center.
