§ 33.161 QUALIFICATIONS.
   The Public Service Officer shall:
   (A)   Be a high school graduate or GED equivalent;
   (B)   Have the ability to read, write, and speak the English language;
   (C)   Have the ability to compose letters and articulate thoughts and interpretations;
   (D)   Have a working knowledge of computers and word processors;
   (E)   Possess a valid Illinois driver’s license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle without limitations or suspensions;
   (F)   Have the ability and willingness to understand and carry out oral and written instructions;
   (G)   Consent to and successfully complete a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving theft, dishonesty, fraud, deceptive practices, or crimes involving moral turpitude;
   (H)   Furnish the village with adequate recommendations, educational credentials, and background documents;
   (I)   Have good physical and mental health and submit to and successfully complete a physical examination and drug test and, during employment, submit to drug testing if requested by superiors and/or hiring officials;
   (J)   Successfully complete any initial training program or other up-date training programs as required by the President or his or her designee(s);
   (K)   Be at least 18 years old.
