§ 33.106 DUTIES OF PERSONNEL.
   (A)   It shall be the function and duty of the Fire Department and every firefighter to:
      (1)   Upon the alarm of fire or emergency, to report for duty as soon as possible; and
      (2)   It is the duty of each active member to attend Departmental training, meetings and special events.
   (B)   Minimum requirement standards for active membership and to remain in good standing shall be as follows:
      (1)   Attendance of a minimum of 15 hours per quarter and/or 60 hours annual training which can be met by attendance of department training or other outside training approved by the Fire Chief or his/her designee.
      (2)   Reporting for duty to 15% of all non-EMS calls for service answered by the Department;
      (3)   Attendance of six regular fire department meetings annually which can be met by attendance and/or absence excused by the Fire Chief or his or her designee for good cause.
   (C)   Any member failing to meet the minimum 60 hours annual training will not be in good standing regardless of his/her percentage of all non-EMS calls for service answered by the department.
   (D)   Any member failing to meet the requirements shall be notified quarterly by the Chief, in writing, for possible disciplinary action, up to and including termination, by the Chief, his/her designee, or Village Board.
   (E)   Any member not in good standing will not be eligible for any possible compensation from the village.
   (F)   Any member that has 15 or more years of services in good standing who cannot meet these minimal requirements shall be given the option to retire.
