(A) From the personnel of the Fire Department, there shall be appointed a Fire Chief, who shall be the head of and in full charge of the Fire Department, an Assistant Fire Chief, a Deputy Fire Chief, up to four Captains and up to four Lieutenants.
(B) The appointment of the Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief shall be made annually, at the first Village Board meeting in May by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Village Board. The appointment of the Deputy Chief, Captain(s) and Lieutenant(s) shall be made by the Fire Chief as needed.
