§ 33.048 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   FALSE ALARM. Any and all engaging of burglar alarms (when there has been no breach of the peace, no burglary, theft or intruder), fire alarms (when there is no fire or smoke present), panic or hold up alarms (when there is no trouble, intruder or thief present), or if the engagement of the alarm was caused by human error or equipment malfunction at the premises on which the alarm is installed.
