(A) If a false alarm was caused by a verifiable malfunction in telephone lines or equipment not located at the premises at which the alarm is installed, the person, persons, business or corporation shall not be liable for that malfunction.
(B) The person, persons, business or corporation shall provide proof that the malfunction was not their fault upon request.
