Upon the approval by Council of the intended route, day and time of the moving of a building, a permit therefor shall be issued. No fee shall be charged for such permit.
Every person applying for such a permit shall submit with his or her application a cash bond, or a bond with sufficient surety, to be approved by Council, conditioned on his or her compliance with this chapter, and shall agree to pay and hold the City harmless for any claim which may be made against it for property damage or personal injury arising from the moving of any building, trailer, mobile home or other structure. Every person applying for such permit shall further sign an agreement to indemnify the City for any claim which may be made against it for property damage or personal injury arising out of the moving of such building, trailer, mobile home or other structure.
