505.13 BEEKEEPING REGULATED.
   (a)   No person shall own, keep, possess or raise bees in such a manner as to constitute a nuisance, annoyance or hazard to the inhabitants of neighboring, adjacent or adjoining premises or to residents of the City. As used in this section, “bees” means any stage of the common hive or honey bee known as Apis mellifera, or other bees kept for the production of honey or wax.

   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
