There is hereby established the position of Director of Disaster Services. The Director shall be appointed by the Mayor. The Director shall coordinate and supervise the civilian defense activities of the City. He shall exercise such powers and duties as are prescribed for the directors of local civil defense organizations by Ohio R.C. 5915.09 and other laws and ordinances.
