(a) If the Mayor is working more than thirty-eight (38) hours per week for the City, by fulfilling the role of Street Superintendent in addition to normal Mayoral duties, the person serving as Mayor will be entitled to the same benefits as other full time supervisory employees of the City on the same terms and conditions as the other employees. This includes participation in the City health insurance plan.
(b) The compensation of the Mayor will not be changed for performing additional duties. The only change is recognition of full-time employment status, which entitles the Mayor to the benefits available to full time employees.
(c) If the Mayor stops performing the duties of Street Superintendent, the position will revert back to part-time, and no longer be entitled to benefits.
