(a) The EMS Advisory Board shall be comprised of at least five (5) members, but no more than seven (7). The Mayor and Safety Director shall be co-chairman of the EMS Advisory Board and the remaining members shall be representatives of City Council, the Fire Department, current and/or former members of the EMS division and a lay citizen.
(b) The members of the EMS Advisory Board will serve at the appointment and will of the Mayor.
(c) The members of the EMS Advisory Board will be uncompensated. They will be covered by City liability and worker’s compensation insurance while performing their duties as members of the EMS Advisory Board.
