Wherever any lot, which was in separate ownership prior to the adoption of this section (Ordinance 4702, passed August 21, 1956), is divided by a district zone boundary, the Planning Commission may recommend to the Board of Zoning Appeals, upon request by the owner of the lot, that up to fifty feet on either side of the zone district boundary be rezoned to one of the zone districts into which it is divided and the Board of Zoning Appeals may order, on the basis of hardship, such a zoning classification to be made effective.
(Ord. 4702. Passed 8-21-56.)
