765.99 PENALTY.
   The failure of any person, corporation, unincorporated association, or any group to operate a private club for sale and consumption of intoxicating liquors within the City without first obtaining a license from the City shall be punished as a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the City jail for a period not to exceed one year, or by both fine and imprisonment. Each additional day that the person, corporation, unincorporated association, or any group operating a private club for the sale and consumption of intoxicating liquors shall operate a private club without first obtaining a license shall constitute and be considered as a separate offense.
