Sec. 34. Appointment, qualifications, duties and salary.

The Council shall appoint a Commissioner of Streets for said City, who shall be a competent civil engineer, and who shall perform all such duties as may now or hereafter, by ordinance, be imposed upon him. His salary shall be fixed by Council from term to term. (Acts 1915, Municipal Charters, ch. 6, Sec. 34; Acts 1933, ch. 125)
