Commercial off-premise signs: Should any sign be damaged by acts of God, weather, unintentional harm or negligence or should any commercial off-premise sign deteriorate due to failure to properly maintain said sign to the point that the cost of repair is greater than fifty percent (50%) of its current fair market value, the City shall not grant any permits for the repair or reconstruction of the sign. This prohibition does not apply to signs damaged by vandalism or other criminal acts. (Ord. 2006-43. Passed 10-19-06.)
