509.99 PENALTY.

   (EDITOR'S NOTE: See Section 501.99 for general Code penalty if no specific penalty is provided.)

   (a)   Whoever violates Section 509.01 shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned not more than twenty-four hours.

   (b)   Whoever violates Section 509.02 shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both, for a first offense. For a second or subsequent offense such person shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both.

   (c)   Whoever violates Section 509.05 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), or imprisoned in the regional jail for not more than sixty days, or both fined and imprisoned.

   (d)   Any person who violates any of the provisions of Sections 509.06 or 509.07 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), and may be imprisoned in the jail not exceeding thirty days.
