505.11 LIMIT OF TWO AULT DOGS.
   No person shall maintain or harbor more than two adult dogs, except for purposes of operating an indoor animal boarding, daycare, training center or kennel as outlined in the Martinsburg zoning ordinance. An adult dog is defined as being in excess of six months in age or in possession of permanent canine teeth. Any person who maintains or harbors more than two adult dogs shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined, upon conviction, a minimum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) and a maximum of five hundred dollars ($500.00), per dog in excess of two adult dogs and any dog in excess of the allowable limit may be subject to seizure. Each day constitutes a separate offense.
