(a) Employees of the City of Martinsburg shall be paid, in addition to their regular rate of pay, wages, and salary, the following annual longevity page, to be earned and paid as hereinafter set forth:
Each full-time employee of the City of Martinsburg with four (4) years of service shall be paid two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) plus an additional fifty dollars ($50.00) for each additional year of service up to a maximum amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00). Each part-time employee of the City of Martinsburg with four (4) years of service shall be paid one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) plus an additional twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each additional years of service up to a maximum of one thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($1,250.00).
(b) The anniversary date to be used for each employee in measuring that employee’s term of service shall be the respective employee’s last date of hire by the City of Martinsburg. Employees earning and qualifying for longevity pay whose anniversary last date of hire is between January 1 and June 30 shall be paid their longevity pay no later than June 30. Employees earning and qualifying for longevity pay whose anniversary last date of hire is between July 1 and December 31 shall be paid their longevity pay no later than December 31.
