In new subdivisions or when the development of commercial property occurs, the STC will review landscaping plans and may require street trees to be planted in any of the streets, parking lots, parks and other public places abutting lands henceforth developed and/or subdivided.
All developments shall provide shade trees with the following standards:
(a) A minimum caliper of 1-1/2 inches.
(b) Planted between the sidewalk and setback line at least five feet from the sidewalk.
(c) Uniformly spaced not less than fifty feet not more than 100 feet apart along the entire length of each street within the development except in special plantings designed by a landscape architect and approved by the STC.
