A nonrefundable fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be paid to the Planning Commission or the Board of Zoning Appeals, as applicable, by any person, party, company, partnership or corporation whose failure to appear with the required documentation at a properly scheduled and advertised Planning Commission hearing or Board of Zoning Appeals hearing necessitates a rescheduling and readvertising of said hearing prior to any action being permitted by law to be taken by the Planning Commission or the Board of Zoning Appeals. The one hundred dollar ($100.00) fee shall be paid before the matter is rescheduled and said fee shall pay for the advertising cost and contribute to payment of the staff costs incurred by the City in rescheduling the matter under consideration.
