107.01 PLANE OF REFERENCE FOR ELEVATIONS; BENCH MARK AND ELEVATION.
   (a)   The official City base or plane of reference for elevations in the City is hereby fixed at a point four hundred fifty-six and sixty-nine hundredths (456.69) feet above sea level as determined by the U.S. Geological Survey at the County Courthouse, West King Street, on the east end of the first step up from the sidewalk, marked by a brass tablet as the adjusted elevation, now marked four hundred fifty-seven and seven-tenths (457.7) feet.
   (b)   The brass tablet in the end of the first step up from the sidewalk at the entrance to the County Courthouse, on West King Street, is hereby declared to be the primal bench mark of the City and the adjusted elevation is four hundred fifty-six and sixty-nine hundredths (456.69) feet above mean sea level.
