Whoever fails to comply with any provision of this article, shall upon conviction be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day and costs of prosecution, and in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned not more than thirty (30) days. Each continuing day of violation of this article shall constitute a separate offense.
