§ 153.53 RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS IN THE 100-YEAR FLOODPLAIN.
   (A)   No person shall place or park an RV within the 100-year floodplain as defined in § 153.50, without obtaining a temporary RV floodplain permit from the city.
   (B)   The temporary RV floodplain permit shall be subject to review and approval by the city's designated Floodplain Administrator. The application for such permit shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
      (1)   Applicant’s name, address, phone, and email;
      (2)   Must provide a valid vehicle registration;
      (3)   Proof of ownership of the RV;
      (4)   A site plan showing the proposed location of the RV;
      (5)   Demonstrate design of quick disconnect type utilities, if applicable;
      (6)   Provide two emergency contacts for the property: requiring name, address, phone, and email address;
         (a)   Emergency contacts cannot live further than 30 miles from the placement of the RV.
         (b)   Emergency contacts cannot share the same home address.
         (c)   Both emergency contacts must provide self-identification and signatures (government issued identification, including but not limited to driver's license).
      (7)   Signed letter of intent to evacuate the RV within one hour of being contacted by the city of a significant rain event; and
      (8)   A statement from the owner agreeing whether failure to comply with this section authorizes the city to evacuate the RV at the owner’s expense.
   (C)   All temporary RV floodplain permits expire February 1 every year.
   (D)   Administrative application fees are $50.
