Any person who violates any section of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be punished by a penalty as provided in § 10.999(A) of this code of ordinances. In addition, a violation of this chapter is a municipal infraction. In addition to the foregoing, the city’s Plumbing and Gas Inspector may order the removal, correction or disconnection of any gas or plumbing installation that does not meet the code specifications and shall have the authority to disconnect installation when it is found that it endangers life and health.
