§ 34.41 IN-SERVICE TRAINING.

   (A)   Weapons.

      (1)   Each officer will qualify with service weapon semi-annually.

      (2)   Each officer will qualify with department shotgun annually.

      (3)   Each officer will qualify with off-duty weapon annually.

   (B)   First aid.

      (1)   Completion of a first-aid course is required of each officer every three years. Courses such as Red Cross, EMT, First Responder, and the like, are acceptable.

      (2)   Certification in CPR will be required annually.
