§ 112.40 SALE TO MINORS, DRUNKARDS OR SPENDTHRIFTS.
   (A)   Sales of alcoholic liquor are subject to all prohibitions and penalties set forth in the ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, §§ 6-16 and 6-20 as amended from time to time.
   (B)   Any person under the age of 21 years who misrepresents his or her age for the purpose of purchasing and receiving alcoholic liquors in any tavern, or other place in the city where alcoholic liquors are sold, shall upon conviction thereof be fined as set forth herein
   (C)   Every place in the city where alcoholic liquor is sold shall display in a prominent place, a printed card which shall read substantially as follows:
“WARNING
Persons Under 21 Years of Age
Your are subject to a fine up to $750 under Ordinance of the City of Marseilles if you purchase alcoholic liquor or misrepresent your age for the purpose of purchasing or obtaining alcoholic liquor.”
