§ 50.11 PREPARATION OF GARBAGE.
   (A)   The disposal of municipal waste and refuse by all persons, including landscape waste, shall conform with all requirements of state and federal law, and shall be in conformity with the provisions of this chapter. Surplus liquids and fluid of all municipal waste must be drained off so as to avoid spillage. Household garbage must be enclosed or wrapped before being placed in the receptacle, as hereinabove set forth. Collection of garbage shall be made at least once a week from single-family dwelling units and multiple-family dwellings of less than three units. Collection of garbage from multiple-family dwellings and non-residential property shall be established by order of the Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvements.
   (B)   It shall be a violation of this section for any person, firm, corporation or entity of any kind to place garbage, recyclable materials or other wastes of any nature and kind for collection by the contract garbage hauler at the curbside or other designated collection area more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled collection time.
