§ 38.02 DIRECTOR-COORDINATOR; APPOINTMENT; RESPONSIBILITIES.
   (A)   The Director-Coordinator of the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency shall be appointed by the Mayor with consent of City Council and shall serve until removed by same.
   (B)   The Director-Coordinator shall have direct responsibility for the organization, administration, training and operating of the Emergency Services and Disaster Agency subject to the direction and control of the Mayor as provided by statute.
   (C)   In the event of the absence, resignation, death or inability to serve as the Director-Coordinator, the Mayor or any person designated the Mayor, shall be an act as Director-Coordinator until a new appointment is made as provided in this chapter.
