There is hereby established a Marseilles Code Hearing Division, the function of which is to expedite the prosecution and correction of code violations in the manner set out in this chapter. The Mayor shall appoint members to the Code Hearing Division consisting of a hearing officer, a clerk, and a computer operator. In the event that the city has an intergovernmental agreement with another Illinois unit of local government to establish a mutual program of administrative adjudication, the Mayor may appoint to the Code Hearing Division parties employed by other parties to the intergovernmental agreement.
