(a) Any residence or commercial entity utilizing what is commonly referred to as a dumpster for deposit of trash and refuse shall install and maintain a fence or barrier around the dumpster in a manner that will adequately shield view of this dumpster from the general public. The nature of this fence or barrier shall be subject to the approval of the Town government.
(b) Any residence or commercial entity using a dumpster shall take all reasonable means to reduce or eliminate offensive odors emanating from the dumpster site.
(c) Any residence or commercial entity using a dumpster shall take all means to eliminate the scattering of debris around the dumpster site and to assure all trash and refuse is stored in the dumpster.
(d) Any residence or commercial entity using a dumpster shall be responsible for preventing rodents or insects at the site of the dumpster or being caused by use of the dumpster.
(e) Failure of a residence or entity, commercial or otherwise to comply with any of the foregoing provisions shall be subject to a fine not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each separate offense. (Ord. 2011-11-1. Passed 11-21-11.)
