There is hereby levied upon every defendant in municipal court convicted of a crime, court costs in the sum of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00). The court costs imposed herein is in addition to any fine or penalty set in the Marmet City Code for violations of any provision hereof. Any amount in excess of the statutory fees remitted to the State of West Virginia, not to exceed thirty dollars ($30.00) shall be allocated as fees for funding, maintenance, repair, replacement and purchasing of police equipment and law enforcement training. Any additional amount not to exceed ten percent (10%) of total court costs shall be allocated to administrative costs of the municipal court judge/court clerk line item. All remaining court costs not previously allocated shall be allocated to the general fund of the town of Marmet.
