147.03 MEMBERSHIP.
   The Sanitary Board shall be composed of the Mayor and two residents of the Town appointed to the Board by Council. No other officer or employee of the Town, whether holding a paid or unpaid office, shall be eligible to appointment on the Board until at least one year after the expiration of the term of his/her public office. The term of the members of the Board appointed by Council shall be for three years and the Mayor shall serve as such during the term of his/her office. The present members of the Board heretofore duly appointed and their terms are hereby confirmed. The successors of each such member shall be appointed to the term of three years. No member of the Board may serve more than three successive terms on the Board. Members of the Board may be removed at any time by the Town Council. Vacancies shall be filled by Council for any unexpired term which may hereafter occur, in the same manner as the original appointment. No bond shall be required of the members of the Board except the treasurer thereof, as hereinafter provided. (Ord. 2018-05. Passed 10-15-18.)
