8-3-8: PENALTIES:
   A.   Penalty For Prohibited Discharges:
      1.   Penalty Imposed: A person who continues prohibited discharges is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, is subject to penalty as provided in section 1-5-1 of this code for each act of violation and for each day of violation.
      2.   Criminal Or Civil Remedies: In addition to proceeding under authority of subsection A1 of this section, the city is entitled to pursue all other criminal and civil remedies to which it is entitled under authority of statutes or other ordinances against a person continuing prohibited discharges.
      3.   Right To Terminate Service: The city reserves the right to terminate service, after reasonable notice, to any customer that fails to pay bills when due or discharges any prohibited wastes into the sewer system. (Ord. 368, 2-6-2002; amd. 2004 Code)
   B.   Other Violations: Any person violating the provisions of this chapter, except for violations covered by subsection A of this section, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-5-1 of this code. (2004 Code)
