§ 150.084 WHEN PERMIT IS REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful to construct, enlarge, alter or demolish a structure; or change the occupancy of a building or structure, exitway or sanitary provisions; or to change to another use; or to install or alter any equipment for which provision is made or the installation of which is regulated by ordinances of the town and all technical codes adopted by the town, without first filing an application with the building inspector in writing and obtaining the required permit therefor; except that ordinary repairs, shall be exempt from the need for a permit. Such permit must be issued prior to the commencement of any work upon the building or structure. Failure to comply with this section shall subject the owner a fine as set forth in this code.
