(A) The city shall allow for an emergency work to be completed in the extreme cases that a residence does not have working heat, water and sewer and loss of power.
(B) Any person, firm, corporation or entity completing work must:
(1) Contact the Building and Housing Department via phone about emergency situation (i.e., no heat, water and sewer and loss of power). Voicemail must be left with the Building and Housing Department detailing emergency situation;
(2) Submit to the Building and Housing Department by fax or e-mail the scope of work prior to beginning work;
(3) All permits must be purchased on the next business day. An emergency fee for $75 may be applied to the permit cost; and
(4) Final inspections when work is completed.
