§ 150.021 NOTICE TO OWNER TO PUT STRUCTURE IN SAFE CONDITION.
   In the event that the city, through its agents, servants and employees, shall become aware of the existence of a building or structure located within the corporate limits, whether completed or uncompleted, occupied or abandoned, which is unsafe or dangerous, the Building Department shall cause the owner of record thereof, together with all lien holders of record, to be served with written notice by United States mail to put such structure in safe condition or demolish same within 15 days. If, upon diligent inquiry, the identity or whereabouts of such owners or lien holders cannot be ascertained, the notice provided for herein shall be served upon the person or persons in whose name the property in question was last assessed.
