(A) There is created a standing committee of five members composed of three Council members and two members of the public, to be appointed by the Mayor upon the advice and consent of the City Council, to meet monthly and review all problems arising in the city with respect to the subject matter of this chapter with the duty to make further recommendations to the Council and with the purpose of eliminating unhealthy, unsanitary and unsightly conditions in the city.
(B) The Health Officer of the city shall serve as an ex officio member of the committee.
