A. Bylaws And Rules; Quorum: The council shall adopt bylaws and such rules as may be deemed necessary to conduct the affairs of the council and the operation of the center in an orderly manner; provided, that a quorum shall not be less than a majority of the members appointed to the council. (1977 Code § 2.54.090)
B. Officers: The officers of the council shall consist of a chair, vice chair, secretary and treasurer. Each of the officers shall be elected annually by the members of the council except the chair, who shall be appointed by the mayor annually, with the advice and consent of the city council. (1977 Code § 2.54.040)
C. Meetings: The council shall meet regularly on a designated day each month, and more often as the occasion requires at the call of the chair. Such meetings shall be held in the Marion Senior Citizens' Center building. (1977 Code § 2.54.050)
