The mayor, with the consent of the city council, will appoint a zoning administrator who will administer the day to day functions of this title. The administrator will receive and record all applications for permits and clearances authorized under this title. The administrator will issue zone clearances upon applicant satisfaction of the zoning requirements. The administrator is additionally authorized to grant relief of up to ten percent (10%) from any zoning requirement involving setbacks, heights, or parking when the zoning procedure does not involve the zoning board of appeals, city council, or county regional airport authority.
