The issuance of a building permit by the City shall not be construed as an indication, assurance, evidence or a guarantee by the City that the building, building plans, or any part thereof comply with any applicable State or Federal Statute, rule or regulation. It shall be and is the sole responsibility of the owner, builder and/or builders of any building being constructed, renovated or repaired to comply with all applicable State and Federal Statutes, codes, rules and regulations.
