8-2-6: AUTHORITY TO RENAME STREETS:
The city council may rename a street upon its own initiative or upon request, provided it is determined the public interest will be best served thereby and the criteria set forth in subsection 8-2-5A of this chapter is followed. (Ord. 1498, 4-4-1994)
