6-1-2: REGISTRY LISTS:
   A.   Commencing with the expiration of the current registry lists for candidates for employment as city police officers or firefighters, the fire and police merit board shall conduct examinations annually for candidates to be enrolled in the registry lists.
   B.   The names of qualified candidates shall remain on the registry lists for two (2) years.
   C.   The fire and police merit board shall have the discretion of selecting names for employment from those on lists up to two (2) years or on the most recently compiled lists. (Ord. 2253, 4-13-2009)
