4-11A-4: BOND REQUIREMENTS:
Every application for an electrical contractor license shall be accompanied by a bond of the applicant with an approved surety company, to be approved by the city clerk, in the penal sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), conditioned that such license will protect and hold harmless the city against any and all liability on account of any claims resulting from accident or damage occurring during the execution of any wiring or work connected therewith, either by licensee or any person acting under his direction; further that it be a protection for the City and the residents of the City with conditions upon said licensee conforming to all ordinances, conditions, and requirements of the city relative to work to be done under such license; further conditioned upon the proper restoration of streets, alleys, sidewalks, pavements, or subsurface improvements disturbed by the licensee.
