Every applicant desiring a license shall file with the city clerk a written application for such purpose giving his name and place of business, and furnish any evidence required of him relative to the responsibility, skill and ability of the applicant to carry on his business or trade under such license in accordance with the ordinances, rules and regulations of the city. If the applicant works for a business corporation or partnership, the individual to be licensed must provide documentation of the proposed licensee's position within the business.
