All customers who request water service which will require a new water main tap and service line shall be required to make a written application for service to the Utility Engineering Department. The application shall indicate the location of the premises to be served, size of service line and estimated water requirements. The Utility shall then advise the applicant of the form and character of the water supply available. Applications shall be valid for one year. Any applicant may request an extension of time.
