§ 70.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   The penalties provided by the Michigan Vehicle Code are adopted by reference. The city may not enforce any provision of the Michigan Vehicle Code for which the maximum period of imprisonment is greater than 93 days, provided, however, that a violation of M.C.L.A. § 257.625(1)(C) is punishable by one or more of the following: community service of not more than 360 hours, imprisonment for not more than 180 days, and a fine of not less than $200 or more than $700.
   (B)   Any violation of § 70.006, or any part thereof, shall be deemed a civil infraction and is punishable by a fine not to exceed $100. Each day that a violation exists or continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
   (C)   Any individual, corporation or other legal entity found to have violated any of the provisions §§ 70.075 et seq. shall be responsible for a civil infraction with a fine not to exceed $500.
